As part of the Sacconi Quartet’s 2021 Artist’s Residency, Kate Beaugié invited local artists, filmmakers, photographers, a poet, a writer, a designer and sound engineers to interpret and document the event ‘Beethoven on the Beach’; Beethoven’s Op. 131 performed by the Sacconi Quartet, on Sunny Sands, as the sea water rose and the Earth turned on its axis, on the 24th October 2021.

The concluding event; BEETHOVEN ON THE BEACH REVISITED, will be held in the huge, imperial spaces of The Grand and will consist of a curated amalgam of the individual and collaborative creative journeys into music, space, sound, time, words, silence, light and darkness.
