    Haydn’s ‘Bird’ Quartet opens tonight’s concert, performed by the award-winning Salome Quartet from the Royal College of Music. After a break of two years, our very own RCM String Ensemble returns to perform three greats of the string orchestra repertoire including John Woolrich’s haunting Ulysses Awakes for Viola and Strings.  Expect to hear strings like you’ve never heard them before! Ticket details will be available here.

    We’re delighted to have the dynamic trio ‘Kosmos’ perform for our late-night slot this year. Kosmos re-defines the relationship between classical and world music. Gypsy, Scottish, Jewish and Greek music glide into hot-blooded tango and Japanese melody, referencing classical composers including Brahms, Dvorak and Sarasate. Ticket details will be available here.

    Haydn’s fresh and ebullient ‘Lark’ quartet will set the scene, followed by Beethoven’s tempestuous ‘Storm’ quintet with violist Phil Dukes. For the finale, Tom Poster joins the Sacconis for Korngold’s sumptuous and thrilling piano quintet. Ticket details will be available here.
