Welcome to The Sacconi Chamber Music Festival Folkestone 2013!

The award-winning SACCONI QUARTET are bringing chamber music home with a right royal celebration of British composers and performers. Think Elgar, Ireland, Vaughan Williams and of course Benjamin Britten, who’s centenary the country is celebrating in 2013. They’ll be in good company, joined by the likes of Haydn, Beethoven and Mozart. The Sacconis have also invited some of the country’s finest musicians as guest artists, including tenor MARK PADMORE, song-pianist GARY MATTHEWMAN, horn player RICHARD WATKINS and fiddler DONALD GRANT.
