Wigs and custard pies

We asked our friend and colleague, Matthew Sharp ('extraordinary cellist, virile bass-baritone, compelling actor') to devise a musical play for us to do in schools. The product was 'The String Thing', a rambunctious journey through time and space, from Haydn's time to the future. Wigs and custard pies will never cease to amuse!
