We're coming up to May and officially the start of summer, and that can only mean one thing...the Sacconi Chamber Music Festival!
The Sacconi Quartet begin the month of May with a CAVATINA family concert at the Institute Français, London, followed by a trip to Romsey, Hampshire, for a concert with the fantastic jazz trio Acoustic Triangle. In mid-May they will be interviewed on BBC Radio 3 before decamping to the Kent coast for the fifth annual Sacconi Festival. To celebrate the fifth birthday, this year's Festival brings 5 alive with a glut of 5tets and 5somes - the Sacconis will be joined on stage by wonderful guest artists that include Tom Poster, Matthew Hunt, Matthew Sharp and the RCM Sacconi String Orchestra. This is an event not to be missed! Keep an eye out on twitter for the Festival hashtag: #SacconiFestival. At the end of the month the Sacconi will then travel to perform in the beautiful setting of Woodbrige, Suffolk.
